Last mile funding by SWAMIH, Nisus Finance and Phoenix ARC
Azalea Capital Partners LLP is pleased to announce that it has acted as the Sole Advisor, Deal Structurer and Arranger for Aliens Group to secure last mile
funding of ₹ 465 crore from the government-backed and SBICAP Ventures-managed last-mile financing platform, Special Window for Completion of Construction of Affordable and Mid-Income Housing Projects (SWAMIH I), realty credit fund Nisus Finance and Phoenix ARC. This strategic investment aims to streamline the project’s progress and enhance its viability for all stakeholders involved. The SWAMIH Fund has opted to subscribe to rated debentures worth Rs 320 crore issued by Aliens Developers, which are listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) which will be utilised to complete the Aliens Space Station project,
which focuses on creating mid-income housing units. The funding is anticipated to benefit over 2,000 homebuyers. Nisus and Phoenix ARC have jointly participated to take over existing loan from Edelweiss through a negotiated settlement and Nisus contributed additional funding of 25 Crs to complete ongoing projects of Aliens HUB project, a large-scale plotted development.
